Fennel & Gin Digestive Aid
In many Indian and Middle Eastern restaurants, there is a bowl of fennel by the host stand. These dried, licorice flavored seeds are meant to be chewed after your meal. After eating, the fennel seeds are both refreshing to your breath, as well as supportive to digestion. The compounds in the plant act as a carminative, an agent that decreases flatulence and aids the smooth muscle action of the intestines.
As the holiday season quickly approaches, many people want creative and new recipes to share with their loved ones. In the video below, I show you a very simple way to make a delicious after-dinner beverage that can also support your digestion. This is something many of us can use after those delightful feasts!
Happy feasting and I hope you enjoy the video!
